  • First Annual FHS Holiday Marketplace

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham High School is planning a Holiday Marketplace sponsored by the Parent Athletic Committee to benefit the FHS athletic program. The marketplace will take place on Saturday December 6, 2008 from 10 am to 4 pm at Framingham High School.

    Dont’ miss this event! Organizers have rounded up 90 exhibitors with high quality, original handmade items,boutique items such as knitting, quilting, pottery, jewelry, toys, home décor, holiday items and gifts.

    With the marketplace around the holidays expectations are for a busy marketplace supported by a town of 65,000 people and a student body of FHS of over 2,000 students and 400 faculty/staff.

  • Salute to Framingham on March 14th

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Salute to Framingham Committee is proud to announce this year’s recipients of the 2007 Salute to Framingham Award: Joe Casperowitz, James O’Connor, and Michael Phipps.

    Please join them in honoring these recipients who have given unselfishly of their time to thousands of children, at the 15th Annual Salute to Framingham Dinner on Wednesday, March 14th, 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel.

  • George Wheeler Cup Soccer Night on Saturday

    11th Annual Event Scholarship Fundraiser

    FRAMINGHAM,MA — The 11th Annual George Wheeler Cup Soccer Night will take place Saturday, September 16th, at Bowditch Field on Union Avenue beginning at 4 p.m.

    • Game one features the spirited rivalry of Framingham Alumni versus Natick Alumni. Kickoff is 4:15 p.m.
    • Game two is Framingham High versus Natick High Girls Varsity Bay State League Match at 6 p.m.
    • Game three is Framingham High versus Natick High Boys Varsity Bay State League Match at 8 p.m.

    Admission is $3 for adults and students. Children and youth soccer players are admitted free. Raffles include Pats Tickets, Celtics Tickets, Boston Renegades stuff and more. Proceeds from this event fund four annual George Wheeler Cup Memorial Scholarships given to two Framingham High and two Natick High student athletes, as well as The Friends of Framingham and other local causes.

  • Townwide PTO Candidates Night Monday, Feb. 27th

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Come to the Newly Renovated Framingham High School on A St. to listen to and ask questions of Candidates for School Committee and The Board of Selectmen at this Candidates Forum Sponsored by The Townwide PTO.

    The event begins at 7:30p.m. and there will be opportunities for members of the public to ask questions.

    Get to know the candidates so you know who to vote for in the preliminary election on Tuesday, March 7th, 2006.

  • Framingham – Natick 100th Football Game Video Project

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – On November 23, 2006 Framingham High School and Natick High School will play the 100th Thanksgiving Day Football Game in Framingham.

    In commemoration of this great event, we are putting together a video of the 100 years of Thanksgiving Day match ups between the two towns.

    If you are interested in helping out on this great project, please join us on Monday, December 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Library. If you know of anyone who might be interested in working on this project please pass this information along to them.

  • Framingham High School Drumline at Celtics Game

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – The 21 member Framingham High School Drumline will perform at Boston’s FleetCenter before the Celtics/76ers game on Sunday, April 3rd. Game time is 1 p.m.

    George Perrone, Band Director and Director of Fine Arts, responded to an invitation from the Celtics, and arranged to have the Drumline play at this home game.

    Family and guests of the drummers were issued complimentary tickets to be on hand for the performance and game, which will be broadcast by ABC TV and WWZN 1510 AM The Zone radio.
