FRAMINGHAM, MA – When Community Cabelvision first setup shop in Framingham it expanded our access to audio/video information — beyond channels 2, 4, 5, 7, 27, 38, 44 and 56.. (and the few fuzzy stations we could pick up from Providence, RI and other regional broadcast areas if you got the rabbit ears just right and the weather was clear).

Today we have three companies in Framingham, (Comcast, Verizon and RCN), all selling us more high-def, high-speed, high-priced t.v. programming than anyone could ever possibly consume — and a lot of it is bundled junk.

You have options.  You can pull the plug on cable t.v. and watch an amazing amount of news, weather, sports, music videos and even (more…)

FRAMINGHAM, MA – The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is partnering with the American Automobile Association AAA of Southern New England to offer registration and license renewal services in three Massachusetts AAA offices.

The first Massachusetts AAA office to provide the RMV services was in Worcester on July 8, 2010. The next location will be in Plymouth on July 14th, and finally the Framingham AAA office at 653 Worcester Road, (next to Walgreen on Route 9 at Prospect Street), on July 21, 2010.

While having some Registry of Motor Vehicle service back in Framingham sounds better than nothing, notices from MassDOT only mention that AAA will offer their members the opportunity to renew their licenses and vehicle registrations“.

Yes, you have to be a AAA member, and so far it appears they will only be offering basic renewal services.
