University of Notre Dame Chorale at St. Bridget’s
FRAMINGHAM, MA — On Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010 at 7:30 pm the University of Notre Dame Chorale, the official concert choir of ND will give the fourth performance of its Winter Tour at St Bridget’s Church.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – DVD Release Party
FRAMINGHAM, MA – The magic of Harry Potter will descend on the BLOCKBUSTER in Framingham, 17 Temple Street, on Monday, Dec. 7 at 8:30p as the store hosts a midnight DVD release party for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”
In addition to being the next chapter in the highly popular series of films based on J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” novels, the movie is the highest grossing film of 2009 and is among the top 10 highest grossing films of all time.
Activities include conjuring and illusions with Boston’s David Hall the Magician and his white rabbit Hocus, fun with Mix 104.1’s Sue Brady and the street team, and a chance to win 52 free DVD rentals ($250 value) and the opportunity for loyal Harry Potter fans to be among the first to rent or purchase the movie on DVD or Blu-ray, while supplies last. Second Annual FHS Holiday Marketplace
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham High School is planning another Holiday Marketplace sponsored by the Parent Athletic Committee to benefit the FHS athletic program. The Marketplace will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 10am to 4pm at Framingham High School.
Exhibitors with high quality, original handmade items, artisans and boutique items such as knitting, quitting, pottery, jewelry, toys, home décor, holiday items and gifts will fill the gymnasium areas and beyond. Plan on taking your time to get through the marketplace; there will be lots to see and to buy for holiday giving.Admissions fees for shoppers will only be $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for students and children over 12 years old.! There will be plenty of parking, police on duty, and refreshments will be available. All students working at the Marketplace are athletes lending their support and thanks for your participation in the Marketplace.

3rd ANNUAL NEW ENGLAND HISTORY FESTIVAL
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The New England History Festival is hosting its 3rd annual program on Saturday November 14th, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the Hibernian Hall on 151 Watertown Street in Watertown, MA. The hall is handicapped accessible and within walking distance from public transportation (#70, 71, 73 and 57 buses from Watertown Yard). Admission is $15.00.
This year’s program promises to be the best in New England. Our mantra is “The Past is a Blast”.The 2009 program features an array of character re-enactors including Mike Lowe as John F. Kennedy (with his debut performance of The Missiles of October), Gwendolyn Quezaire-Presutti as Harriet Tubman, Julia Donahue as Abigail Adams, authors Diane Rapaport (The Naked Quaker), Tom Moor (Passport To Freedom) and James Horrigan (The Ghost of the Lady In Black). There will also be colonial cooking and medicine demonstrations.

CELEBRATE BABES, BOYS AND BOTOX
FRAMINGHAM, MA – At 2 p.m. on November 8, the acclaimed Four Bitchin’ Babes®) will perform their hilarious Hormonal Imbalance,™ A Mood Swinging Musical Revue at Framingham High School to benefit two local non-profits — Hope In Bloom and The Vernon Cancer Center. WCVB TV news anchor, Susan Wornick along with breast cancer survivor and WCVB TV reporter Kelley Tuthill will emcee the laugh filled afternoon.
When 49 year old Framingham resident, Kimm Delgizzi, was diagnosed with breast cancer, her longtime friends Dale Gudejko and Anne Blackington sprang into action. To cheer Delgizzi up and help her heal, they organized the Four Bitchin’ Babes® appearance in her honor.
Delgizzi chose Dedham based Hope in Bloom, which plants gardens free of charge at the homes of breast cancer patients and The Vernon Cancer Center, where Delgizzi received her care, as the recipients of proceeds from the event.
