FRAMINGHAM, MA – The 2011 Susan G. Komen “3 Day for the Cure” Boston walk started yesterday morning in Framingham.
In the early morning hours, walkers, supporters, friends and family converged on the shore of Farm Pond off Dudley Rd.
At 6:30a.m., the Opening Ceremony began with group stretching, a welcome from Ronni Cohen-Boyar, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization, followed by an inspirational opening address given by Dr. Sheri Phillips, 2011 National Spokesperson for the Susan G. Komen organization.
To simply say “Sheri was awesome!” just isn’t enough — you really need to hear her yourself — and we make it possible here! So here she is speaking to a crowd of more than 1000 at Farm Pond… Dr. Sheri Phillips!
