TOWN OF FRAMINGHAM
PLANNING BOARD
PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with the provisions of General Laws Chapter 40A, Section 5 the Framingham Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 7:45 p.m. in the Blumer Community Room, Memorial Building, 150 Concord Street, Framingham, Massachusetts, to consider amendments to the Town of Framingham Zoning By-Law for the April 26, 2011 Annual Town Meeting as follows.
ARTICLE Conversion of Single -family Detached Dwelling
To see if the Town will vote to amend Section III.A.2. Conversion of Single-family Detached Dwellings and Section III.C.4.b. Central Business District (CB) of the Framingham Zoning By-law as follows.
Amend Section III.A.2. by deleting paragraph .d. in its entirety.
Amend Section III.C.4.b. by deleting in paragraph (3) in its entirety.
ARTICLE Lot Access and Frontage Requirement and Definition
To see if the Town will vote to amend Section I.E. Definition of Lot Line, Front and Section IV.G.4.a. Lot Access and Frontage Requirement of the Framingham Zoning By-law as follows.
Amend Section I.E. by amending the existing definition for Lot Line, Front by replacing with new language.
Amend Section IV.G.4.a. by deleting existing words and adding new language.
ARTICLE Building Height and Bulk Regulations
To see if the Town will vote to amend Section IV.G.7.b. Exceptions to Maximum Height Requirement of the Framingham Zoning By-law as follows.
Amend Section IV.G.7.b.1. by adding new language.
Amend Section IV.G.7.b. by adding a new paragraph 3.
ARTICLE Drive-thru Facility Regulations
To see if the Town will vote to amend Section IV. Special Regulations, Section I.E. Definitions, III.C.1. Neighborhood Business Districts (B-1), Section III.C.2. Community Business District (B-2), Section III.C.3. General Business Districts (b-3 and B-4), Section III.C.4. Central Business District (CB), and Section III.C.5. Business District (B) of the Framingham Zoning By-law as follows.
Amend Section IV. by adding a new subsection Q. Drive-thru Facility.
Amend Section I.E.1. by adding a new definition related to the Drive-thru Facility.
Amend Section III.C.1.d.(2), III.C.2.d.(3), III.C.2.d.(4), III.C.3.d.(3), III.C.4.d.(3), III.C.5.d.(2) by adding at the end a reference to the new Drive-thru Facility regulations.
A copy of the full text of the proposed amendments may be inspected at the offices of the Planning Board and Town Clerk in the Memorial Building, (150 Concord Street, Framingham), and in the Framingham Public Library (49 Lexington Street, Framingham). Any person wishing or interested to be heard on the proposed amendments should appear at the time and place designated for the public hearing.
