Framingham, MA — On January 26, 2010, Secretary of State William Galvin, Rep. Pam Richardson, Selectman Chair Ginger Esty, Pastor Elias Monteiro, Rev Faith Tolson and other local leaders will Kick Off Framingham’s 2010 Census Complete Count Committee.
Effort will emphasize Census is Easy, Safe and Important
The event will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the Costin Room of the Framingham Public Library, Lexington Street, Framingham. The event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided compliments of Padaria Brazil.
The Framingham CCC will work with local community-based groups and business institutions to develop and implement an outreach program to create awareness of and participation in the 2010 Census throughout Framingham.
Other community-based groups and organizations in Framingham are encouraged to join the town-wide CCC to help raise awareness about the benefits of the Census and the need for the residents to respond to the questionnaire they will receive in March, 2010.

The Framingham CCC is composed of influential representatives who are trusted voices in their respective communities. Efforts are focused on informing the residents of Framingham that the 2010 Census is safe, easy and important. Framingham CCC members understand the importance of an accurate Census population count which affects federal funding for many programs throughout Framingham as well as for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts congressional representation.
