    Rep. Tom Sannicandro Promotes Citizen Lawmaking

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – A strong advocate for using technology to make government more transparent and accessible, Representative Tom Sannicandro was recently featured in The Economist for a website that asks his constituents and other interested parties to collaborate on and ultimately draft a bill to regulate net neutrality.

    The magazine featured an article titled Government by (all) the people, which looked at efforts around the world to include citizens in law making.

    The article references Rep. Sannicandro’s participation in the website lexpop. He also has his own wiki-style website that allows constituents to collaborate on new ideas for legislation in different topic areas, YourVisionForMassachusetts.wikistyles.org.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – With no final vote having taken place, and no actual legislation enacted, some camps are claiming victory, some decrying losses and most just knocking the process of raising the nation’s debt ceiling so the country can continue to pay its bills.

    President Obama released a 2 minute, 20 second YouTube video with his thoughts on the agreement the two major political parties have made.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Below are the “unofficial” tallies of votes cast in Framingham for the November 2, 2010 Massachusetts State Election. These tallies are for Framingham only, the outcome of the majority of these races and the results of ballot initiatives depend on statewide election returns.

    The only race which was decided entirely by Framingham voter is the election of State Rep. for the 6th Middlesex District, the seat currently held by Pam Richardson.  You’ll have to read through the list to see who is going to be Framingham’s newest State Rep…

    6th Middlesex MA State Rep Debates

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – A debate between candidates vying to be the next State Representative for the 6th Middlesex District was held October 25, 2010.

    The debate brought together candidates Jim Pillsbury, (an Independent), Jim Rizoli, (also Independent), and Chris Walsh, a Democrat who beat out current State Rep. Pam Richardson, for the their party’s nomination in the primaries.
