    Defense Holds in Fourth as FSU Rams Football Downs WestConn 35-21

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham State University football team forced three fumbles and recorded four sacks including a key sack-fumble in the fourth quarter as the Rams defeated Western Connecticut 35-21 this afternoon in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Bowditch Field.

    The Rams defense stopped WestConn four times in the fourth quarter to secure the victory including a stop on the goal line as time expired. WestConn’s final four possessions resulted in a fumble, a punt, a turnover on downs and the stop on the goal line as they tried to come from behind.

    FSU RAMs Football Celebrates Homecoming with 45-21 Victory

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – The Framingham State University football team received a rushing touchdown and two passing touchdowns from junior Nicolas Goffredo (Hyde Park, MA) as the Rams rushed into the win column with a 45-21 victory over UMass Dartmouth this afternoon in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Bowditch Field.

    UMass Dartmouth won the toss and elected to receive the opening kickoff. They took advantage with a five play, 70 yard drive capped by a 57-yard touchdown from Aviles-Santos to Machado to take a 7-0 lead after the extra point.

    FSU RAMs Football Loses 2021 Season Opener 31-0

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — After a year away from the gridiron, the Framingham State University RAMs football team opened the 2021 season with a 31-0 loss to number 15 ranked N.Y. State University of Brockport Golden Eagles in non-conference action at Bowditch Field.

    The Rams fumbled on the opening play of the game giving Brockport the ball on the 32-yard line. Five plays later Cheshire and Cromer connected for a 16 yard score and a 7-0 lead with 12:20 on the clock after earning the extra point after touchdown.
