    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Access Framingham invites Framingham residents to an Open House from 1:00-5:00pm on Saturday, November 10th, 2012. All are welcome!

    Access Framingham is located at the rear of the Fuller Middle School, at 31 Flagg Drive in Framingham, MA.

    As part of the festivities, attendees can record a free DVD with holiday wishes for family and friends, and/or record a holiday greeting from your family to be telecast on AF-TV’s cable channels and website.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – It’s almost time for the 22nd Annual Curtis Family Thanksgiving Dinner!

    A Fundraising Dance and Raffle are being held to support this important community event.

    On Saturday, November 10th, 2012 there will be a Dance at the Eagles Hall featuring live music by the Off the Hook Band.  Join your friends and neghbors for an evening of dancing, cocktails and  a wonderful array of  hors d’oeuvres which will be served throughout the night.  Tickets are $25.00 per person and can be purchased in advance or at the door.

    On November 22nd, 2012, Mark and Karen Curtis, along with volunteers of all ages and backgrounds will once again peel, chop, and prepare meals to support their annual thanksgiving feed hosted in the banquet room at the Framingham Eagles Club.

    As they have in the past, Mark and Karen, together with an army of volunteers will open up at noon and stand ready to serve a hot meal to anyone that comes through the door. For those unable to attend, they plan to deliver more than 500 meals to the elderly and others that may be less fortunate.  Last year, nearly two-thousand Thanksgiving meals were served!

    Thanksgiving Raffle!

    Thousands of dollars worth of items, services and gift certificates are also being raffled off.  Raffle tickets are $10.00 with 100% of the proceeds supporting the Curtis Family Thanksgiving Dinner.

    Winning raffle numbers will be drawn and prizes awarded throughout the night of the dance, (you do not need to be present to win — but why miss all the fun?)

    Curtis Family Thanksgiving Fundraiser Dance & Raffle
  • $8 Million Slated for Downtown Framingham Traffic Improvements

    Framingham, MA – Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray today joined federal, state, and local officials to announce $8 million in funding from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) to mitigate chronic traffic congestion at the intersections of Route 126 and Route 135 in downtown Framingham. Lieutenant Governor Murray also announced an additional $350,000 in funding awarded by MassDOT to support a study that will evaluate four potential solutions identified by previous studies and help the state and Town of (more…)
