  • Gov. Patrick Helps Celebrate Greater Framingham Community Church’s 35th Anniversary

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – The Greater Framingham Community Church, corner of Franklin and Park Sts., is celebrating 35 years of ministry and service to the MetroWest and Greater Boston communities.

    As part of the celebration, GFCC is hosting an anniversary banquet on Saturday evening, September 29, 2007, 5:00 PM Reception , 6:00 PM Banquet at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel at 1657 Worcester Road (Route 9 West) in Framingham, MA with the Honorable Deval Patrick, Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as the Guest Speaker. The anniversary theme is “Celebrate the Journey.”

    The celebration continues at the ten o’clock Sunday morning Worship Service on September 30, 2007, with the Rev. Dr. Conley Hughes Jr., pastor of Concord Baptist Church in Boston as Guest Preacher.

  • Natick Collection, the revamped & upgraded Natick Mall, celebrates Grand Opening

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — As of Friday, September 7th, 2007, the Golden Triangle will have a new group of upscale stores and restaurants to experience as the Natick Collection, formerly named, (but still to be called by locals) the Natick Mall, officially opens.

    The Natick Collection will open with the fanfare of Boston Symphony Orchestra Trumpeters during an aerial ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham Historical Society & Museum invites you to an evening of fun and entertainment at the Framingham Historical Society and Museum on Wednesday August 8th.

    Civil War era Edgell Memorial Library located in Framingham Centre.

    Come tour all three of your historic buildings on the Framingham Centre Common and learn about this treasure of a museum, our town’s rich history, and our efforts to save these buildings. See old friends and meet new ones at our wine and cheese reception.
