  • Library Celebrates 150 Years This Weekend

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – The Framingham Public Library is capping a year of special events, with a special weekend of activities as it celebrates its 150th anniversary.

    Activities on Saturday, April 29, and Sunday, April 30th include puppet shows, Dixieland Jazz, storytelling, and an appearance by mystery writer Robert Parker.

  • Yard Sale to Support Our Troops

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – The Grace Chapel of Lexington, Framingham Community will hold a MULTI-FAMILY YARD/BAKE SALE 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, May 13, 2006 RAIN OR SHINE at 99 Baldwin Ave., Framingham.

    PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING YARD SALE ITEMS: 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit & support our local troops through one or all of the following local non-profit charities “Operation Homefront, Homes for Our Troops, and Mass Local Heroes.”

  • Free Cooking Demonstration at Office Depot

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – If you are looking for some ideas for quick and easy menus, drop in on the free cooking demonstration Tuesday night, April 25th, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Office Depot, Shoppers World.

    Corporate and private cooking consultant Ellie Deaner will present a special program, “Spring Meals in Minutes for Busy Professionals.” Deaner has inspired thousands to cook through her easy and informative cooking classes, cookbooks, and TV programs. Come learn how it is possible to put together quick and easy meals after working all day.

    This event is free, all are welcome and there will be sampling and networking along with great cooking tips.
