FRAMINGHAM, MA – Yes it is true! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting the Access Framingham television studio on Sunday December 9th, 2012.
Tune in from 7:00-8:00pm on Sunday December 9th when Old Saint Nick will pay us a special visit on the air-LIVE. He and Mrs. Claus will be taking phone calls from all the good boys and girls in Framingham.
Do you have a special question for Santa? How do his Reindeer fly? How many toys do the elves make every year? How does Santa know who has been naughty or nice? …or just call in to wish Santa a Merry Christmas!

FRAMINGHAM, MA – Just a few spots still available in Video Production Camp at Access Framingham!
In August, AF-TV will offer a new Video Production Camp to young people ages 10-12. The dates are Monday, August 13th through Friday, August 17th, from 9:00am to 12:00 noon each day.
Campers will work together to develop and produce an original program. Every child will have a hands-on experience with studio cameras, microphones, control room switcher, graphics and audio. Students interested in video production, editing, and writing are strongly encouraged to participate. The final project will be played on Access Framingham TV and made available online on www.accessfram.tv
All participants will receive a DVD of the show. In order to ensure that each student gets individual attention and the maximum amount of hands-on experience, our class size is limited to 12 campers.
The cost of the one week workshop is $175.00, and includes a one-year AF-TV membership, which enables use of our studio facilities and certification, with parental supervision, to check out AF-TV production equipment to work on additional programming throughout the year.

FRAMINGHAM, MA – Scouting is alive, well and continues the same traditions founded over 100 years ago.
In North Framingham, Pack 78 is comprised of boys who attend the Hemingway, Dunning, Potter Road and Stapleton schools — and they’d like to see even more boys join!
While the focus is on the boys — moms, dads and the whole family can be involved in scouting activities and spend quality time with their sons.

FRAMINGHAM, MA – Between the towns of Natick, Wayland and Framingham, MA, Lake Cochituate offer many recreational summer activities including swimming, boating and fishing.
Many locals may not realize that just a few hundred yards east of the Framingham/Natick town line, (on Rt. 30), the beach, picnic area, boat launch, snack bar and canoe/kayak rental shop are in Cochituate State Park, (which is operated by the MA Dept. of Conservation and Recreation).

1st Annual Cochituate State Park Fishing Derby, August 27th, 2011 (for kids 14 and under).
FRAMINGHAM, MA – The MA Dept. of Conservation & Recreation and the MassWildlife Angler Education Program is sponsoring the “1st Annual Cochituate State Park Fishing Derby“, Saturday, August 27th, 2011 from 8:00a.m. ’til 11:00a.m.
The derby is open to children ages 14 and under and will be held at the Boat Ramp at Cochituate State Park on Rt. 30, (just over the Framingham/Natick town line, to the left of the park entrance).
All children must be supervised by an adult.
Prizes will be awarded for biggest fish, smallest fish, and most fish caught!

FRAMINGHAM, MA – The “3 Swingin’ Tenors“ entertained young, old and everyone in between for the July 22nd, 2011 “Concert on the Green“, a free concert series held on the Framingham Center Common each Friday night throughout the summer.
Kids play as couples dance to a 1950’s doo-wop medley by the “3 Swingin’ Tenors”
The trio The 3 Swingin’ Tenors; Jack Alessi, Steve Marvin and Jim Porcella performed their repertoire of medleys and generational favorites — with a few improvisational stories and a bit of joking around between sets.
