    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Dennis Paulsen, (Town Meeting Member for Precinct 9, and Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Works), recently spoke with key Town of Framingham personnel and the construction supervisor responsible for the East Framingham Sewer Construction project regarding the work being done near the interestion of Rt. 30 (Cochituate Road), and Rt. 126, (Concord Street).

    Paulsen was informed that this week, (July 5th – July 8th, 2011), crews will be cutting diagonally across Concord Streetfrom Landseer Ave. to the Framingham Cooperative Bank, and that the work will be done during weekday working hours and that during the construction, Rt. 126 will be restricted to (1) lane (more…)

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Many residents of Framingham got up early this morning to take a short drive over the town line to Natick.

    Some got up early just to make sure they had a good spot to watch Natick’s Annual 4th of July Parade — and others to get ready to be in it.

    As a town, we should thank our neighbors to the east for putting together a first-class, traditional, all-American Independence Day parade — and for being unselfish enough to include Framingham performers, musicians, politicians, classic car owners, fire engines as well as parade watchers.

  • The Infractions Funky Music Fills the Common

    FRAMINGHAM, MAThe Infractions packed the house in a July 1st, 2011 performance at the Framingham “Concerts on the Green”.

    Due to rain last week, this was the first night a band played this year in the free summer concert series that’s been running on the Framingham Centre Common every year since 1996.

    This was also the first time a new stage, built by students from Keefe Tech was used.
