    FRAMINGHAM, MA– Roadwork on several major capital improvement projects in town will continue this week, (Monday through Friday, July 25th through July 29th, 2011).

    Delays due to traffic and detours around some of the work sites can add to driving times, so motorists should plan accordingly.

    The Town of Framingham’s Department of Public Works / Highway Division / Capital Projects website offers residents and visitors to Framingham helpful information about current and upcoming construction projects.

    You can view up to date traffic alerts, maps of project worksites and traffic detours, and sign up to receive email alerts for all or any of the currently listed projects.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – The 2011 Susan G. Komen “3 Day for the Cure” Boston walk started yesterday morning in Framingham.

    In the early morning hours, walkers, supporters, friends and family converged on the shore of Farm Pond off Dudley Rd.

    At 6:30a.m., the Opening Ceremony began with group stretching, a welcome from Ronni Cohen-Boyar, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization, followed by an inspirational opening address given by Dr. Sheri Phillips, 2011 National Spokesperson for the Susan G. Komen organization.

    To simply say “Sheri was awesome!” just isn’t enough — you really need to hear her yourself — and we make it possible here! So here she is  speaking to (more…)

  • 3 Swingin’ Tenors, 2 Artists, 1 Night of Fun On Common

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – The 3 Swingin’ Tenors entertained young, old and everyone in between for the July 22nd, 2011 “Concert on the Green“, a free concert series held on the Framingham Center Common each Friday night throughout the summer.

    Kids play as couples dance to a 1950’s doo-wop medley by the “3 Swingin’ Tenors”

    The trio The 3 Swingin’ Tenors;  Jack Alessi, Steve Marvin and Jim Porcella performed their repertoire of medleys and generational favorites — with a few improvisational stories and a bit of joking around between sets.
