    FRAMINGHAM, MA – In June I wrote about Framingham author Robyn Bradley, on the release of her first novel, “Forgotten April”.

    Without retelling that entire article, I’ll mention again, Robyn is the youngest of six children, an only girl with five older brothers, that she graduated from Framingham North High in 1991, and that her inspiration to become an author came in Mrs. Shea’s 4th grade class at the Charlotte Dunning School.

    Jumping forward some twenty eight years after getting “three red stars” on a life changing writing assignment from Mrs. Shea, we find Bradley an accomplished writer, able to weave hard-to-put-down tales which take the reader inside the minds and lives of the characters she creates.

    Her recently released second novel, “What Happened in Granite Creek” expands on a short story titled “Support Our Troops” which she penned in 2009.

    Although much of Bradley’s writing is geared towards the womens’ fiction market, Granite Creek crosses over to appeal to both genders.  The book is definitely not a hearts and roses romance novel — the sometimes gritty language and adult situations in this story (more…)

    The classic cars that made Riley's in Nobscot a favorite Saturday night cruise destination has re-opened as CJ's Northside Grill.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – For nearly a decade, every Saturday night when the weather was nice, antique autos, high performance hot-rods and vintage vehicles cruised to Framingham to meet with other car enthusiasts at a restaurant in the Nobscot section of town.

    The restaurant, formerly operated by Joe Breed as “Riley’s Roast Beef” is now CJ’s Northside Grille — brought back to life by Framingham natives Chris Gagen and Jamie Anderson.

    Chris and Jamie are both Framingham North High class of 1989 graduates and both worked at Riley’s when Joe owned the place

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Growing up the youngest of six children, an only girl with five older brothers, Robyn Bradley escaped into a world she created with pen and paper. She traces her ambition to become an author back to Mrs. Shea’s 4th grade class at the Charlotte Dunning School, when a writing assignment earned her praise …and three red stars.

    After graduating from Framingham North High in 1991, Robyn detoured slightly from the written to the spoken word, and put in six years full time at radio station Magic 106.7, (followed by another seven years working there part-time). But she kept finding herself (more…)
