    Common Ground Rocked the Common

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Hometown band “Common Ground” played to a huge audience last night at the Framingham Centre Common.

    “Common Ground” plays the Allman Brothers’ classic “One Way Out” at Concert on the Green, Framingham, MA, July 15, 2011

    Drawing a diverse mix the crowd included families with small children, teens, “twenty-somethings”, baby-boomers, empty nesters, retirees and seniors — all peacefully co-existing for a few hours to enjoy the open-air “Concert on the Common“.

  • OpenSpirit – New Jazz-oriented Worship Experience

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — Last fall, Edwards Church held a “Day of Spirit,” in which people were invited to experience a variety of opportunities for spiritual renewal: meditation, yoga, art, music. The positive response from the wider community pointed to a strong spiritual yearning among non-church-going residents in the area. Out of this and other similar experiences, a collaborative of churches, clergy, and musicians has formed to offer a new kind of worship opportunity in the Framingham area.

  • Friends of Saxonville Celebrate 10th Anniversary

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — Please join the Friends of Saxonville for the Tenth Anniversary Celebration on Friday, April 4th at 7 p.m. at Edwards Church Hall, next to the church, 39 Edwards Street, off Elm Street in Saxonville village.

    Come and enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, conversation, and the history of Edwards Church. Celebrate the Friends accomplishments and plans for the future.

    This is also the Annual Meeting of the membership. Every year there is at least one member from out of state who attends to support the group. Members are encouraged to volunteer for our Board of Directors! New members are always welcome!
