  • Notice from Framingham Democratic Caucus

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – If you want to participate in the Framingham Democratic Caucus to elect the Framingham delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Convention, or be a candidate for delegate to the Convention (in Worcester on June 2-3,2006), you must be registered as a Democrat by 12/31/05. If you are unenrolled in any party, you can change your party registration by mail or in person at the Town Clerk’s office.

    The main business of the 2006 Convention is to select the candidates for statewide offices who will appear on the Democratic ballot in the fall primary. We encourage all who have an interest in the process of nominating candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, etc., to learn how you can get involved.

    The Framingham Caucus is Sunday, February 5, at Cameron Middle School (215 Elm St), registration opening at noon, the voting starting at 1:00.

  • Framingham Bracelet Available for Gift Giving

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Janice Kiley, of the Framingham Cultural Council, announces that the sterling silver limited edition handcrafted Framingham Bracelet is still available for last minute gift giving.

    The tulip design incorporated into the bracelet is patterned after the wrought iron railing around Framingham’s downtown common.

    The bracelet was designed and is made by Vera Jeweler’s in downtown Framingham.

    The bracelet is a fundraiser for the Framingham Cultural Council, which supports many Framingham organizations and activities, including the Framingham Historical Society, and the summer concerts series.

    Bracelets are $ 100, and $ 50 is considered a donation to the Framingham Cultural Council.

    If you have a friend or family member, or special employee or associate who likes jewelry and has ties to Framingham, this makes a great and unusual gift, plus you are giving a gift to the town at the same time.

  • Framingham – Natick 100th Football Game Video Project

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – On November 23, 2006 Framingham High School and Natick High School will play the 100th Thanksgiving Day Football Game in Framingham.

    In commemoration of this great event, we are putting together a video of the 100 years of Thanksgiving Day match ups between the two towns.

    If you are interested in helping out on this great project, please join us on Monday, December 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Library. If you know of anyone who might be interested in working on this project please pass this information along to them.
