World Day of Prayer (at Edwards Church)
World Day of Prayer will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 at 4:00p.m. at Edwards Church UCC, hosted by Edwards and the Community of Saint Luke followed by a light supper. It will include an open table and eucharistic celebration where all are welcome. The theme this year “I was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me” was written by the women of France. The Speaker will be Gabriel Bol Deng, Founder and Executive Director of Hope for Ariang, an organization that is providing the village of Ariang in South Sudan with a school building and an opportunity for girls and boys to receive quality education.
