Washington’s Birthday
United Stated Federal Holiday, government offices, schools, and some businesses may be closed. Holiday celebrates the birthday of the 1st President of the United States — George Washington. Although his birthday is February 22, (he was born in the year 1732), it is celebrated on the 3rd Monday of February to give Federal Employees and others a three-day weekend. While many refer to the holiday as “Presidents Day”, officially, it’s “Washington’s Birthday”.
