Turning 3: Transition from Early Intervention into Special Ed

The Framingham Special Ed Parent Advisory Council Presents:Turning Age Three — For Children Going from EarlyIntervention to Special Education. Thursday, April 28 from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Juniper Hill School Conference Room,29 Upper Joclyn Avenue in Framingham. Presented by Cheryl Caira (trained advocate) and Susan Arndt, co-chairs of F-SEPAC — as well as the other F-SEPAC board members – Marcy Rosch, Marjorie Hansen, Rachel Richer. At this lecture you will learn what you need to help with the transition to special education, eligibility for special education, and learn about the parent’s role in planning, decision making, and overseeing your child’s transition and progress in school. You will also hear the parent’s perspective as well and get a chance to ask questions to those who have recently gone through it. We will be able to answer questions from our experiences with physical disabilities to autism related questions to social and emotional supports. Come bring your questions. We are here to help!!
