Sunday Concert Series: Duo Terre de Sienne (at Main Library)
Framingham Public Library Sunday Concert Series: “Duo Terre de Sienne”, Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 at 3:00p.m. in Costin Room of Main Library ** The talented duo of Velleda Miragias on cello and Mika Tanaka on piano will perform music by a variety of composers including Beethoven, Rachmaninov and Schumann. *** Velleda Miragias is principal assistant at the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and also plays with the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston, Boston Ballet, Boston Baroque, and with the Handel and Haydn Society. *** Mika Tanaka has performed extensively in solo and chamber music concerts throughout the U.S., France and Japan. She is a pianist in residence at the Stamford International Music Festival (UK). *** Concerts feature an hour of music and are supported in part by a grant from Bose Corporation. *** Seating in the Costin room is limited so please come early to be assured of a seat. *** Doors open at 2:30p.m. *** Free to all! *** Framingham Main Library, 49 Lexington St., Downtown Framingham, MA
