Poetry Reading: Featuring Local Poets Bernard Horn and Sam Witt
7:00pm–Don’t miss this inspiring evening of poetry featuring talented local poets Sam Witt and Bernard Horn! Bernard Horn will recite poems from his beautifully crafted recent book “our daily words”, winner of the 2009 Old Seventy Creek Poetry Prize. His poetry has been featured in The New Yorker, The Manhattan Review, The Mississippi Review and others. Sam Witt will read selections from his recent manuscripts: Occupation: Dreamland and In the Aphasia Ward. In addition to being a resident at the Breadloaf Writers’ Conference, Mr. Witt’s poems have been featured in the Harvard Review, Virginia Quarterly, New England Review and others.
