Nationwide Emergency Alert System Test
On Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 at 2:00pm, the Emergency Alert System (EAS) will be tested across the United States. For approximately 30 seconds, television, radio and other forms of communications will present an audio and visual message alerting people that the test is in progress. This is the first time the system has been tested on a nationwide level. Use link below for more information from the FCC about the test.
