Memorial Day Services

The Town of Framingham, Framingham Veterans Council: MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES for MONDAY, MAY 31, 2010. Services will be held at each of the following times and locations: 8:00 A.M. assemble at Cushing Park Chapel, 8:15 A.M. Form-up and leave by car/bus/bike, 8:25 A.M. St. Tarcicius Cemetery, Winthrop St., 8:40 A.M. Old Burial Ground, Main St., 9:05 A.M. Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove St., 9:20 A.M. St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Fenwick St., 9:35 A.M. St. Georges Cemetery, Cherry St., 9:50 A.M. Edward’s Cemetery, Edwards St, 10:00 A.M Edwards for break. 10:20 A.M. Athenaeum Hall, Saxonville, 10:35 A.M. Veterans Park, Concord St., 10:55 A.M. Return to Cushing Veterans Memorial. 11:00A.M. Services continue at Cushing Veterans’ Memorial with rededication and “Never Forget” flag replacement. Pledge of Allegiance by Cub Scouts Pack 78. Veterans Service Officer Peter Harvell Program Chairman Larry Herson, President of Veterans Council invited guests and speakers include State and Town officials, Guest Speaker: Captain Scott Geer, 151st Support Group Regiment, Benediction and Invocation by Reverend Demian Tebaldi, color guards with Star Riders Bikers, Old Guard Riders and Framingham Fire Department Honor Guard. Others helping with the day’s events include Framingham Auxiliary Police, Parks and Recreation, (Bob Marusi and crew), and Building Maintenance, (Jim Egan and crew). You are welcome to bring a chair if you want or need to sit. In case of bad weather, services will be held inside at Cushing Chapel.
