Lifelong Learning Lecture: Introducing Chaucer: Our First English Poet.
10:00-11:30am.Guest Speaker: Dr. Helen Heineman, President Emerita, Framingham State University.This session examines the Prologue to Chaucer’s “Canterbury Tales”, which introduces a diverse cross section of English society in the Middle Ages. Attendees should bring a copy of the Prologue to the “Canterbury Tales”, in the original Middle English. Copies available at both libraries. No registration required.
