On Sunday November 20th, 2011 at 2:00p.m. The Framingham History Center presents this third lecture in a series exploring memory from the perspective of science, psychology, art and history. Dr. Daniel Schacter, William R. Kenan Professor of Psychology at Harvard University and Author of “Searching for Memory, The Brain, The Mind and the Past” and “The Seven Sins of Memory: How the Mind Forgets and Remembers” is today’s guest speaker. Dr. Schacter will give an overview of the seven sins and provide evidence on how we forget, distort, and engage in retrospective bias among other sins of memory. $5/FHC members; $10/non members.
