10:00am to 11:30am — Lifelong Learning Lecture by Dr. Helen Heineman, President Emerita, Framingham State University. *** “The Miller and the Wife of Bath: Two of Chaucer’s Pilgrims Tell Their Stories”, This session covers the prologue and tales of two pilgrims from The Canterbury Tales: The Miller, who tells a hilarious and cynical story, and The Wife of Bath, who is the group’s self-proclaimed expert on love. *** Participants are encouraged to read the works in the original Middle English (available at both libraries), and bring their texts to the session. *** Framingham State University, McCarthy College Center, Room 415.
