Friends of Saxonville Meeting (at Open Spirit / Edwards Church)
7:00 pm — Friends of Saxonville (FOS) will host Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky at a community meeting in Saxonville on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the Edwards Church Open Spirit Hall in the village center. All are invited to attend. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served. The Mayor’s remarks will address the future of Saxonville with topics ranging from restoration of Athenaeum Hall, renewal of McGrath Square, the “Wild and Scenic Sudbury River” designation of the City, the Carol Getchell Natural Trail and Reservation accessibility for individuals with disabilities. *** Friends of Saxonville is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to educate the public about the special identity of Saxonville and to preserve, enhance, and protect its cultural, economic, environmental and historical qualities. *** Open Spirit Hall / Edwards Church, Edwards St., Framingham, MA, (off Elm St., by Stapleton School).
