Wednesday, January 14 (2009) ~ 7:30 PM Price: $8 ($7 Member)Cabaret Open Mike Feature: Patricia Fitzpatrick & pianist Brian Patton with host Leslie Holmes Host <b<Leslie Holmes presents Patricia Fitzpatrick who is the retired Director of Tourism for the Town of Provincetown and the founder of a talent and production company, Cape Cod Cabaret. Fitzpatrick began her career in the smoky rooms of the Detroit Playboy club and appeared as the lead in numerous Broadway Musicals: “Lil Abner”, “Guys and Dolls” and recently held one of the five leads in the world premier of Kander & Ebbs, “Lover, Liar, Lady, Whore” presented in Provincetown in 2005. She is a recent board member of BACA and also a long time member of MAC. She has performed in New York City at Don’t Tell Mama, Davenports in Chicago and numerous clubs throughout New England. Her latest show, “I’m Single Again, and this time its not my fault” won her rave reviews from cabaret New York critic Stu Hamstra: “May be the best show I’ve seen this year or ever.” Fitzpatrick lives on Cape Cod, where she performs as a regular cast member at the Sundays at Five Concerts in Provincetown from May to October at the Unitarian Church Concert Stage. She works frequently with pianist Brian Patton and Bobby Wetherbee. Fitzpatrick has recently returned from a performance at the prestigious Queens International Film Festival in New York. She also writes, directs and produces murder mysteries for corporate and private clients.
