Art History Program: The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis: Works from the Collection (Exhibition on through May 23)
7:00pm.-Guest Speaker: Dr. Erika Schneider, Assistant Professor of History, Framingham State College.Dr. Schneider will spotlight the museum’s modern and contemporary collection featured in this exhibition while shedding light on modern concepts in art. The importance of the collection has been the focus of a lot of media attention and public outcry in recent months. Artists in the collection to be discussed include: Willem de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Morris Louis, James Rosenquist, Andy Warhol. Refreshments.
