A History of Boston Sports: From Playful Puritans to Football Patriots
7:00pm.–Guest speaker: Mr. Christopher Klein, author of “The Die-Hard Sports Fan’s Guide to Boston.”The Hub’s passion for sports is intricately woven into the cultural fabric of the city and reflects its heart and soul. This presentation will include historical and contemporary photographs, and offer insider’s tips to guide you through the city’s booming sports scene as well as providing little-known facts that will challenge the knowledge of even the most die-hard fan. This fun event will have something for rookies and longtime fans. Borders Chestnut Hill will be on hand to sell copies of Mr. Klein’s book. Refreshments provided by Trader Joe’s!
