A Chrismas Carol
An Illustrated Reading of Charles Dickens’ masterpiece.Performedby Dr. Helen Heineman, President Emerita, Framingham State College.Wednesday, December 17, 7:00pmDr. Helen Heineman, in Victorian costume, will perform this dramatic public reading of “A Christmas Carol”, keeping alive a tradition started by Charles Dickens himself! Dr. Heineman will use Dickens’ own special reading version, which he prepared for use during reading tours in England and America, ending in Boston. Dr. Heineman will further dramatize the performance by using her collection of 250 slides, which portray almost every illustrated version of “A Christmas Carol” since it first appeared in 1843!
