FRAMINGHAM, MA — Growing up in Framingham in the 1960’s or 1970’s, chances are on the 4th of July you watched the fireworks over Farm Pond. As the area became more developed, (and the wetlands destroyed), with the end of 90’s came the end of fireworks in Framingham.

Campaigning for Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky promised to “bring back Framingham fireworks“, and for the first time in more than 20 years, there will be fireworks — and for the first time in about 40 years they will be displayed over Farm Pond!

On Friday, June 30, 2023 the “Stars & Stripes over Framingham” events at Farm Pond Park begin at 3:00pm when FREE public parking lots open and will conclude with a fireworks display over Farm Pond which is scheduled to start at about 9:00pm. The fireworks display should last about 20 minutes, (display is by the same company that does the City of Boston’s July 4th Fireworks!)
