    FRAMINGHAM, MA — Cresco Labs Inc. (OTC:CRLBF), today (September 3, 2021) announced they have finalized and closed the previously announced acquisition of Cultivate which operates a recreational cannabis shop on Rt. 9 in Framingham.

    Cultivate also operates two others pot shops in MA, one in Leicester and another in Worcester and also offers delivery. In addition, Cultivate is a Licensed MA Cannabis Cultivator with approximately 42,000 square feet of active flowering grow space.

    Framingham Ranked #24 of Best Places to Live in America

    FRAMINGHAM, MA – Livability Media, which provides information about and ranks cities, towns, regions and states on how “livable” they are, has ranked Framingham, MA at #24 in their 2020 List of Best Place to Live in America.

    According to their website, for this year they “analyzed more than 1,000 small to mid-sized cities on factors like safety, affordability, economic stability, outdoor recreation, accessibility and community engagement”.

    For 2020, the company’s seventh year producing the annual list, they also factored in an “opportunity score” which took into account job numbers, broadband access, economic resilience and growth.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham based Holiday Manufacturing Inc., worked with Blink Charging Co. (Nasdaq: BLNK) a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment and services to deploy (5) fast IQ 200 Level 2 AC electric vehicle charging stations at Holiday’s facility in Framingham.

    The Blink IQ 200 chargers are the fastest Level 2 AC charging stations available, producing 80 amps of output, providing approximately 65 miles of charge in an hour. Operated on the Blink Network, they can charge any battery-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle.

    Framingham BioTech Company Uses AI to Improve Prostate Cancer Diagnosis

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — BERG, a clinical-stage biotech that employs patient biology and artificial intelligence (AI) to research diseases and develop innovative treatments and diagnostics, recently announced the publication of a new study, entitled “Clinical utility of a serum biomarker panel in distinguishing prostate cancer from benign prostate hyperplasia [BPH]” in Scientific Reports.

    As part of the study, BERG evaluated over 750 patients at geographically diverse medical centers in the U.S. and Canada, where they applied the biomarker panel, comprised of filamin-A (FLNA), age and prostate volume, to predict and stratify men with BPH from those with PCa.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — Mark R. Haranas, president and CEO of MutualOne Bank and Chairman of the MutualOne Charitable Foundation has announced a $10,000 grant to support the summer camp program at Musterfield Place, a residential development managed by the Framingham Housing Authority (FHA).

    According to Paul Landers, FHA director, the program serves approximately 40 children a day over a 9-week summer schedule, with staff sourced from residents and past attendees of Musterfield Place at Framingham Housing Authority.
