    FRAMINGHAM, MA — On Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10:00am – 2:00pm, the Framingham Police Department, in concert with the Medical Reserve Corps, will allow the public to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

    Bring your pills, patches, liquids, or ointments for disposal to the Framingham Police Department at 1 William Welch Way, Framingham, MA, (off Union Ave, in Downtown Framingham).

    East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project to spray Bti over Framingham wetlands using helicopter, April 19th – 30th 2021.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will use a helicopter to apply a bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis (Bti) over wetland areas located in Framingham, April 19-30, 2021, between dusk and 11:30 p.m.

    The application is scheduled for Framingham’s wetlands that are located in the vicinity of Angelica Drive, Callahan State Park, Fairbanks Road, Palmer Road, and Walnut Street.

    Leaves will be collected first, April 26-30, and brush will be picked up May 3-7 on residents’ regularly scheduled trash/recycling collection days during those weeks.

    The Beer Garden will offer award-winning beers such as Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing’s signature Goody Two Shoes, Briefcase Porter, The Cat’s Meow, and Hair Raiser. A brand new beer will also be available: Uh Huh Honey, a West Coast style honey IPA, whose proceeds benefit the Pink Boots Society’s educational scholarships for Massachusetts women in brewing.

    FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham State University RAMS softball team swept Bridgewater State University this afternoon in doubleheader action at Maple Street Field. The Rams took the opener 2-1 before shutting out the Bears 4-0 in the night cap.

    In the opener, the Bears grabbed a 1-0 lead on a solo homer to left center off the bat of sophomore Madison Dana.
