Bench Dedication at Nobscot Park and Story Walk
Visit the Pollinator Garden in Nobscot Park as the Framingham Garden Club kicks off its 85th Birthday. At 2:30 p.m., FGC will dedicate the park’s memorial granite bench and “We Remember” marker. Both installations were designed and sponsored by the club. FGC also designed and planted the Pollinator Garden with native plants donated by Garden in the Woods, and maintains the garden year round. At 3:00 pm, the children’s librarian will begin a story walk from the McAuliffe Branch Library to Nobscot Park. This story walk will feature “The Saved Seed. Pages of this wonderfully illustrated picture book will be placed around the park so visitors can follow the story while enjoying a walk around the park. FGC has donated copies of the book to the city libraries and elementary schools. *** This hidden gem of a park is located on Edgell Road, across the road from 837 Edgell Rd.
