2:30 p.m. *** Featuring: A film of the Veteran Motor Club of America 1939 & 1940 Meets at Raceland narrated by Ken Lemoine, Boston Cup Co-Founder will guide us through the silent film and provide a brief history of auto manufacturing in Framingham. In 1939 & 1940, John Macomber’s Raceland was the site of the Veteran Motor Club of America’s antique car meet. A recently discovered film of these meets reveals not only what looks like an agility course for antique cars and their drivers, but also the gorgeous 1/2 mile racetrack on Salem End Road as a backdrop.
