The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Musical Performance
The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) is pleased to present The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee featuring a cast of students in grades 7-12 from the MetroWest area on Friday, March 6 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 pm at Amazing Things Arts Center, 160 Hollis Street, Framingham. With lyrics and music by William Finn and story by Rachel Sheinkin this comic musical is suitable for ages 13 and up (PG13).The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is the story of how six young people in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. This hilarious tale of overachievers chronicles the experience of six adolescents vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The plot features a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time.The show will take place at Amazing Things Arts Center, 160 Hollis Street, Framingham, MA.
