Professional Artists Series: How To Write An Artist’s Statement (at Danforth Art)
6:30pm ’til 8:30pm – Learn to sell yourself and your work in these action-packed, how-to sessions. This interactive workshop solves the mystery as to what collectors, gallerists, and editors want to see in an artist’s statement. You’ll learn the difference between an artist’s statement and biography. Submit whatever statement you’re using for a personal critique. See examples. Work on revisions and share your work with others. At the end of this fun, energizing evening, you’ll have a rough draft ready to take home and polish up.
