10th Annual MetroWest Arthritis Walk

On Sunday May 6th, 2012 from 11:30am to 3:00pm the annual MetroWest Arthritis Walk will take place beginning at the Natick Town Common. *** The Arthritis Walk helps raise awareness and funds to support research and educational programming for those living with arthritis. *** The walk is a family event that promotes walking as a health activity to maintain bone and joint health, reduces stress, and enhances general well-being. *** A party with food, entertainment, children’s activities, awards and prizes, exhibit booths and much more will be held after the walk. *** Friendly dogs on leash are welcome to attend! (Arthritis affects one in every five adult dogs in the U.S. and is one of the most common sources of chronic pain that veterinarians treat) *** There are 1-mile and 3-mile walks, participants can do either or both *** For more information please contact Elaine Mooney at the Arthritis Foundation at (617) 219-8236 or emooney@arthritis.org
