Memory and Meaning Series History Program (at Edgell Memorial Library)
On Sunday, January 22nd, 2012 at 2:00pm, The Framingham History Center is hosting the final program in the “Memory and Meaning Series”, titled, “Making History/Making Place: New England’s Search for a Usable Past” *** As a champion of local history, civic attachment and engagement, Bill Hosley, (cultural resource consultant, planner, teacher, writer and photographer), will feature New England artists, photographers, and preservationists who have helped us understand our sense of place and why we need to preserve it. Having studied Wallace Nutting early in his career, Bill knows Framingham well and is looking forward to this return visit. *** Tickets are $5/members & students $10/non-members and can be purchased at the door or online from the history center website. *** Program will be held at the Edgell Memorial Library, 3 Oak Street, Framingham, MA.
