Metrowest ESL Fund Gala to benefit Framingham ESL Program
Metrowest ESL is preparing for their annual fund raising gala to be held Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Framingham Sheraton. All proceeds of the event benefit Framingham Adult English as a Second Language Plus Program. This year the gala has some very special guests, two of the rescued Chilean miners. Their presence is symbolic. This year’s theme for the gala is “The Gift of Language is like a light in the Darkness”. “The parallels between the miner’s journey from darkness into light and the Framingham Adult ESL student’s plight to attain English language skills are endless.” Please join Host WCVB-TV’s Susan Wornick and Event Chair, John R. Heerwagen, President and CEO of Middlesex Saving Bank on May 19th for music, cocktails, buffet and auction. Thank you for your consideration in supporting MWESL Fund annual gala.
