Parenting Program: “Packaging Boyhood: Saving Our Sons from Superheroes, Slackers and Other Media Stereotypes”

The book explores the ways in which mass media besiege and manipulate boys, encouraging slacking over studying, competition over teamwork and being cool over being yourself.
