Exploring Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods”
Arthur Finstein, Music Theater Studies Instructor at Brandeis-Osher Lifelong Learning Institute will analyze Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award-winning musical, screening excerpts from the original cast DVD to illustrate his talk and will show how music functions to create an artistic whole. The Musical interweaves the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales with an original new story, creating a captivating unique entertainment. 7 p.m. in the Costin Room at the Framingham Public Library.
