Martin Luther King Jr. Benefit Concert: Sunday, February 1, at 3:00 p.m.First Baptist Church in Framingham, 1013 Worcester Road (route 9, access from Pleasant Street)Enjoy a benefit concert of jazz, gospel, and contemporary music to celebrate the life and work of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The concert will feature the popular local jazz saxophonist Willie Sordillo and his trio; Paul White, a Boston-based nationally known recording artist; the Love Tones from the Myrtle Baptist Church in Newton, MA; Arianna Lewis, First Baptist’s star teenage pianist; and the Children’s Ensemble, string players from the Boston Church for Mission, a Korean congregation.Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for seniors; discounts for families are available at the door, and children under 12 years of age may attend free.
